Tezos Rallies
Tezos has outperformed the whole crypto market today, rising over 20 percent in just 24 hours and climbing up the total market cap ladder, currently sitting at number 18. Tezos is a protocol developped by an ex-Morgan Stanley analyst and is a multi purpose plattform, similar to Ethereum, combining DApps and smart contracts. The rally was caused by the announcement, that Tezos will soon be available for trading on Coinbase Pro. It has yet to be unveiled when the currency will be available on the regular version of Coinbase.
Canaan Confidentially Files For IPO
According to a report by Chinese news outlet IFRAsia, major Bitcoin mining manufacterer Canaan has filed for an IPO in the U.S. The firm is planing to raise $200 million via the public listing. In January reports by Bloomberg already hinted that this IPO would be happening, however the project was then said to be in the early stages. Canaan already filed for a $1 billion IPO in Hong Kong last year, however this application expired in November and the plan was abandoned.
Crypto Market Sees Smaller Gains
After yesterday saw almost all top 20 cryptocurrencies in the red, most of them have made up for yesterday’s losses in the last 24 hours. Bitcoin is up 2.60% and getting closer to the $10,000 mark again, currently trading at $9757.36. Top Alt-Coins Ethereum and Ripple have seen similar gains, both up a little over 2 percent. Top performer of the day, after Tezos, was Bitcoin Cash, rising by 5 percent.
