Telegram Plans to Postpone TON Launch

Telegram’s TON launch was initially set for late October, but the United States Securities and Exchange Commission abruptly declared the $1.7 billion dollar token offering to be illegal.

Consequently, Telegram told investors that it wants to push back the deadline to April 30, 2020.

Libra Anticipates 100 Members by Launch

The Libra Association is still planning on launching with the 100 members initially envisioned in its June announcement.

A Libra representative said the recent departure of Visa, Mastercard, and PayPal will not throw a spanner into the network’s eventual launch and 1,500 firms have expressed interest in joining the project.

Bitcoin Hovers Around 8.000 USD

Bitcoin fell below 8.000 USD this morning. At this moment, the price is slowly crawling upwards. At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading around 8.043,08 USD.
