Massive $1 Billion Bitcoin Whale Transaction Makes Waves
A massive 94,505 Bitcoin transaction changed Bitcoin’s price from $10.569 to $10.790, also referred to as the ‘massive whale move’. A transaction of this size makes investors and investigators wonder from whence the BTC came.
The wallet, first accessed on September 5, 2019, has been involved in only seven transactions, including the massive whale move.
Blockchain analysis firm TokenAnalyst noticed that many of the transactions came from Huobi wallets. “Our team is looking into the validity of the claim” said a Huobi spokesperson.
TokenAnalyst created a graphic that shows the movement of the Huobi BTC into the new wallet.
LG Developing a Blockchain Phone in Response to Samsung
A week after reports Korean messaging service Kakao Corp. was preparing to roll out Blockchain capabilities on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 smartphone, also South Korean electronics giant LG is working with blockchain developers to launch a rival to Samsung’s Klaytn blockchain smartphone, to which an article in our last Crypto2CashChronicle is dedicated.
According to daily news outlet Chosun on September 8, an industry insider said LG had already held discussions with local decentralized application developers and had worked out a use case for its future product.
“LG is likely to respond to Samsung’s innovation initiative” he said.
The device will come with a wallet and a free handout of KLAY, the token developed by Kakao off-shoot, GroundX.
Bitcoin Is Trading Around 10.400 USD
Bitcoin started the weekend with a price of 10.300 USD and reached a high of almost 10.600 USD last Saturday. Bitcoin is now trading around 10.400 USD.
