Japanese Exchange Tao Tao To Launch May 30
The Japan based cryptocurrency exchange Tao Tao has announced that it will be launching it’s service at the end of this month. Japanese internet giant Yahoo paid 2 billion yen (around $19 million) back in April 2018, to acquire 40 percent of the company, meaning that expectations for the new exchange are high. At launch, the platform will offer trading for Bitcoin and Ethereum. Additionally, margin trading will be available for Litecoin, Ripple and Bitcoin Cash.
Eos Price Spikes
EOS has seen some large price gains over the last two days, rising from $6.30 to a little under $8. The network has also seen absolute record volumes of above $5.4 billion yesterday, with the total network activity (transactions and DApp activity) still being the highest of all cryptocurrencies. EOS also managed to overtake Litecoin in total market capitalization and is now the fifth largest cryptocurrency again.
XRP Close To Golden Crossover
XRP is on track for the biggest monthly gain since September 2018. The third largest cryptocurrency is currently up by 27 percent since the start of the month, trading at $0,426, which would equal the second best month in the history of the currency. Looking at the charts, Ripple is also close to making a “Golden Crossover”, a cross between the 50-day and 200-day moving average, which in general is a very bullish sign. Bitcoin also had one of these crossover at the start of last month and since then has seen some immense gains.
