Facebook hires a lobbying firm to help with Libra

Facebook has hired a lobbying firm to help with the regulatory issues surrounding their Libra project.

The registration documents filed show that Facebook hired the company called “FS Vector” for support on “issues related to blockchain policy”.

Crypto-stealing ransomware targets Fortnite players

Ransomware masquerading as a cheating app for the Fortnite game is stealing crypto from Fortnite players.

After the app has been installed it encrypts documents on the player’s computer and it threatens to delete the files, if a ransom is not paid within a certain amount of time. The ransom has to be paid in crypto.

Luckily this kind of ransomware is already well known and is easy to circumvent.
