Deutsche Bank: Crypto to replace fiat currencies by 2030

In the “Imagine 2030” report, Deutsche Bank points out the demand for alternative currencies will rise, with digital currencies eventually replacing cash by 2030.

In the meantime, world governments have been actively debating the need to develop national digital currencies.

8.9 billion USD of Bitcoin move sets record

On 4 December, 8.9 billion USD of Bitcoin were moved on the blockchain in one hour.

The co-founder of on-chain intelligence firm Glassnode pointed out in a Tweet that it is the highest USD transaction volume in Bitcoin’s history.
