CoinMarketCap introduces liquidity metric
Coinmarketcap added a tool to compare exchanges and tokens based on liquidity today. The metric incorporates data from 3000 crypto assets.
This new metric serves as a way of escaping dependence on volume reporting, which is often subject to wash trading and other means of manipulation on different exchanges.
Alibaba allows shoppers to earn Bitcoin
Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba partners with Bitcoin rewards shopping app Lolli, enabling its shoppers to earn 5% back in Bitcoin.
Alibaba customers can now get Satoshis, the smallest unit of Bitcoin currency, worth 0.00000001 BTC, when shopping “thousands of items online”.
Bitcoin is trading around 8.750 USD
After a short peak to almost 9.150 USD last weekend, Bitcoin is now trading around 8.750 USD.
