China publishes bizarre crypto rankings

The China Electronic Information Industry Development (CCID), which works directly for the Chinese government, has recently published it’s crypto rankings for March.

Looking at the ranking, the most notable thing is that Bitcoin only ranks 15th, scoring only half the ranking leader EOS does. CCID stated that it mainly focused on Decentralized Applications, which explain the first 3 rankings, however all the following currencies are all rather unknown and only on the list because they have Chinese developer teams.

Justin Sun reaches one million Twitter followers

Justin Sun, CEO of Tron, is the first Crypto Influencer to reach one million followers on Twitter. Sun is famous for his aggressive marketing and generous giveaways, recently giving away $20 million to a lucky winner. However many Twitter users now stated that most of Sun’s followers are “blank” accounts only created to enter these giveaways but these claims are very hard to prove.

ADA surges

ADA, the native cryptocurrency of the Cardano blockchain network has shown some impressive price movements in the last 2 weeks, with it’s price increasing by 35 percent. The asset now ranks number 10 by total market cap. The rally is mainly attributed to the progress in the development, with Cardano announcing Version 1.5 of it’s mainnet.
