Bitstamp Expands to Asia-Pacific Region

Cryptocurrency exchange Bitstamp has hired Andrew Leelarthaepin to lead its business development efforts in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.

In a press release, Bitstamp said they want to “to meet the growing level of demand for the exchange’s services in this very important region.”

Crypto.com Reveals Its 2020 Domination Plan

Crypto.com co-founder and CEO Kris Marszalek unveiled his company’s 2020 expansion plan in a talk today at BlockShow Asia 2019 in Singapore.

The plans include launching its own exchange, shipping VISA MCO cards to almost every region in the world, and launching a non-custodial wallet.

Travel Company Allows Crypto Payments

Alternative Airlines, a travel company based in the United Kingdom, has partnered with crypto service Utrust to facilitate payments with crypto.

The travel firm’s website allows customers to search from over 650 airlines and pay with cryptocurrencies as Bitcoin and Ethereum.
