What could we expect regarding to Bitcoin in the new year? President Bukele expects two more countries to join El Salvador in adopting Bitcoin as legal tender. He also predicted a bull run that would push the price of Bitcoin to a new all-time high of $100,000.
Noteworthy is that he will speak at the Bitcoin2022-conference in Miami in April. He expects a huge surprise at this event, something about which he apparently knows more about already.
Bitcoin turns 13 years old!
This week marks the 13th anniversary since the genesis block was mined on the Bitcoin network on the 3rd of January 2009.
Satoshi Nakamoto started mining more than a decade and he began the Bitcoin network with a block in which he shared a message:

$87 billion Italian bank to allow Bitcoin purchases
Banca Generali , an Italian Bank geared towards private banking and wealth management, plans to launch Bitcoin trading services in early 2022. These services will be enabled through an integration with Conio — a Bitcoin wallet and exchange app.
Financial magazine “We Wealth” provided details on the bank’s new services last month. Apparently, Banca’s 300 000 customers will be able to create a Bitcoin wallet directly from their bank accounts, thanks to Conio. The former has already invested millions of dollars in Conio, which shares locations in both San Francisco and Italy.
“From that moment on, customers will be able to operate safely on an asset class that could otherwise be risky if approached incorrectly,” he said.
